Both the Frog Furby (left) and the Gorilla Furby (right) are from Era 1, Generation 3. Released from 1998 to 2002, the first Era of furbies are the most popular appearance wise, and are what people usually imagine when a Furby is mentioned (unless youre talking to a child, then they may think of the newest release at the time of writing this.)
The Skunk Buddy (left) and the Bear Buddy (right) are Beanbag Furbies. They were released at the same time as the originals, but do not have any mechanical parts to them! Keen eyed viewers may notice how the image I have for the Bear Buddy is actually a Church Mouse Buddy and that is because I am dumb and they look really similar. The skunk, named A-Tay, is a Generation 1 Buddy, and the bear, named Noo-Loo, is Generation 2.
